Summer Solstice is Medovina's picnic basket mead.
You may elect to serve it well chilled, right out of the cooler.
It is light, crisp and refreshing. Honey is evident, but
not overpowering, on the finish. This is a traditional
mead made with the basic three: raw, unfiltered, unheated honey,
purified water, and yeast.
This is a really great
mead to introduce your friends to Medovina. It is very
easy to drink and is positioned approximately in the middle
of our product line, both in terms of sweetness and mouthfeel
/ body.
The finish on Summer
Solstice varies with vintage, but we usually shoot in the range
of off dry (residual honey percepible to only the best of palates,
less than 0.25%) to semi sweet(honey evident on finish).
