PAYMENT METHODS

Products from our on-line store can be purchased with Visa®, Mastercard®, Personal Checks

and Money Orders.  If you are having difficulties placing on-line orders, please call us at

(303) 845-3090 for assistance.  

TELEPHONE ORDERS

Telephone orders may also be placed by calling (303) 845-3090.

SALES TAX

A sales tax of 4.75% shall be applied to all orders shipped within Colorado, and requires

that your order  be placed while you are visiting our meadery, tasting room, or at the

Boulder County Farmer's Market where Medovina has a booth (every Saturday April to

November)

ORDER PROCESSING

Products purchased with Credit Cards or Money Orders will normally ship within 48 hours,

provided the products ordered are in stock.

Products purchasd with personal checks will be shipped as soon as checks clear - usually

within 7 to 10 days following credit card authorization.

If not all products are in stock, those that are will ship and the remaining products

will be back ordered or customer will be informed that the item ordered is sold out.

Medovina will charge credit card orders only for those products actually shipped.  Back

ordered items will be charged to credit card when those items ship.

SHIPPING

Standard shipping includes costs for third party transit and all product-handling costs.

Standard deliveries are handled by UPS or FedEx based on state availability.
All wine shipments require a signature for receipt. Signatures must be obtained by individuals

over the age of 21 years.
Shipping charges are currently included in the cost of each item.

We can not ship via US Postal Service nor can we ship to post office boxes.

PLEASE CONSIDER 2 DAY OR EXPRESS SHIPMENT DURING SUMMER MONTHS TO PROTECT

MEAD FROM HARSH SUMMER CONDITIONS.  IT IS BEST TO ALLOW THE MEAD TO SETTLE

FOR AT LEAST THREE DAYS AFTER YOU RECEIVE IT.

It is currently not legal for Medovina to ship to States not listed above.  The US Supreme

Court has recently ruled that States can not have discriminatory policies regarding direct

shipment of wine from wineries within their state vs wineries outside their state.  This is a

very positive development and hopefully in the near future we will be able to ship to all

states.  Stay tuned...

ORDER LIMITS

Some states limit the number of bottles of wine that an individual can order.  Medovina will

advise you if your order exceeds State allowed limits.

RETURNS

If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us within 30 days of receipt either

by e-mail at or by telephone (303) 845-3090. We will accept returns

up to 15 days after our shipment provided customer receives preauthorization from Medovina

and provided that the mead is in a resalable condition. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for

the refund credit to appear on your statement. Medovina guarantees the quality of our

products.  On rare ocassions a bottle may be develop off flavors due to problems which

generally originate with the cork.  In such cases Medovina will replace the affected bottle(s)

at no charge to the customer.  We want you to be a satisfied customer, so please let us know

if our products do not meet your expectations.  We will do everything within reason to

make sure your Medovina experience is a good experience.
